Spotts Fain Attorneys Continue Leadership Tradition with Richmond Bar Association Appointments
Spotts Fain is proud to announce that nine attorneys will serve in leadership positions within the Richmond Bar Association (RBA) during the 2026–2027 bar year, continuing the firm's longstanding commitment to professional leadership, service, and the Richmond legal community.
Leading the group is Jen West, who recently completed her term as 2025-2026 President of the Richmond Bar Association and now serves as Immediate Past President and Chair of the Nominating Committee. The RBA was was recognized by the Virginia State Bar with the Bar Association of the Year Award and an Award of Merit for The Richmond Lawyer, the association's award-winning publication for the 2025-2026 bar year.
In addition to West's leadership role, the following Spotts Fain attorneys will serve the Richmond Bar Association during the 2026–2027 bar year:

- Clay Hester – Litigation Section Chair and member of the Administration of Justice Committee
- Chris Hurley – Member of the Administration of Justice Committee and Young Lawyers Representative on the Bankruptcy Section Executive Committee

- Eddie Lumpkin – Member of the Business Law Section Executive Committee

- Chris Bascom – Member of the Communications Committee

- Nancy Simpson – Member of the Litigation Section Executive Committee and Chair of the CLE Committee
