Nancy Simpson Named a 2026 "Up and Coming Lawyer" by Virginia Lawyers Weekly

Spotts Fain proudly announces that Virginia Lawyers Weekly named attorney Nancy Simpson as a 2026 “Up & Coming Lawyer". 

This award recognizes attorneys who have excelled in the profession and are standouts among their peers — all in their first 10 years of practice. These lawyers have been making a name for themselves and displaying the determination and accomplishments that establish them as future leaders.

Nancy Simpson is an associate in the firm’s Litigation section. She represents clients in commercial and business litigation in Virginia. Before joining Spotts Fain, Nancy served as an Assistant Commonwealth’s Attorney in Chesterfield County in the Juvenile & Domestic Relations office. She prosecuted cases involving domestic violence, sexual assault, crimes against children, and crimes involving juvenile defendants. She also had the honor of serving as a law clerk for the Honorable Judge Steven C. McCallum of the Twelfth Judicial Circuit.
