Sophie Deignan Alley

Sophie Alley is an associate in Spotts Fain’s Litigation section. She represents clients in commercial and business litigation in Virginia.

Prior to joining Spotts Fain full-time, Sophie served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable John Marshall and the Honorable Rondelle D. Herman in the Circuit Court of Henrico County. Sophie graduated from the University of Richmond School of Law in 2024, where she was Managing Editor of the Journal of Law & Technology, a member of the Honor Council’s Grievance Committee, and Treasurer for Richmond Women’s Law. During her summer breaks while in law school, Sophie worked as an intern for Spotts Fain.
