Spotts Fain is delighted to announce that John Erbach has been elected Shareholder of the firm.

John's practice focuses on complex business and commercial litigation, including employment disputes, defense of consumer protection claims, and intellectual property litigation. As an additional part of his practice, John regularly counsels businesses on dispute resolution, employment compliance matters, employment policies, employee handbooks and insurance coverage matters. He frequently litigates cases in state and federal court, as well as arbitration, having taken a number of cases to successful verdicts in a variety of business litigation matters.

John received his B.S. from The College of William and Mary in 2005 and earned his J.D. from the University of Richmond T.C. Williams School of Law in 2008. He joined Spotts Fain's Litigation Section in 2013, after serving as law clerk to three federal judges, including the Honorable Henry E. Hudson, U.S. District Judge for the Eastern District of Virginia; the Honorable Dennis W. Dohnal, U.S. Magistrate Judge; and the Honorable David J. Novak, U.S. Magistrate Judge.

"John’s election to Shareholder is a reflection of his development as a top flight attorney and his devotion to the practice of law at the very highest level. We are proud of John’s accomplishments and we look forward to his continued growth and success as a Shareholder of the firm," said Hugh Fain, President and Litigation Practice Chair.
