Kara N. Alley

Government Affairs Specialist

Kara Alley serves as a Government Affairs Specialist at Spotts Fain Consulting. She assists in representing Spotts Fain's numerous clients before the General Assembly, regulatory agencies, and Executive Branch. Kara works to build relationships with Virginia public officials to represent our clients' interests and lobby on their behalf in the General Assembly. Kara is responsible for the day to day management of Spotts Fain's consulting practice through tracking legislation and relevant news, conducting policy research, drafting policy briefs and educational materials, and managing our client's grassroots efforts.

In October 2022, Kara graduated from The Sorensen Institute Emerging Leaders Program (ELP). It is an honor to be selected for this program, which develops effective leadership and public policy skills for Virginia residents who are in the first decade of their career.
