Jen West Honored by Virginia Lawyers Weekly as a 2025 Leaders in the Law

Spotts Fain proudly announces attorney, Shareholder, and firm President Jen West was named a 2025 Virginia Lawyers Weekly Leaders in the Law.

“Leaders in the Law” is described by Virginia Lawyers Weekly as an annual award that celebrates lawyers setting the standard for other lawyers.

Leaders’ accomplishments include outstanding contributions to the practice of law in the commonwealth, significant achievements through the practice of law, leadership in improving the justice system, acting as role models and mentors, and making essential contributions to Virginia’s legal community and/or the community at large.

Jen's contributions to the legal community are significant. Jen has served on the Richmond Bar Association Board of Directors from 2012-2016 and since 2018, and is the 2025-2026 RBA President. She also serves on the National Association of Bankruptcy Trustees 2019-Present, and as the DE&I Committee Member 2021-Present. She serves on the Virginia State Bar Bankruptcy Section Board of Governors, 2022-present. Jen is passionate about ProBono work, and is the Director of Spotts Fain Pro Bono and Community Outreach Activities, and serves on the Greater Richmond Bar Foundation's Firms in Service. 

Jen has been honored as a Chambers USA 2025 for Bankruptcy / Restructuring, is rated AV Preeminent by Martindale-Hubbell, was named a Virginia Business Women in Leadership (2024), earned designation as a Virginia Law Foundation Fellow (Class of 2023), was an Influential Women of Law Honoree, Virginia Lawyers Weekly, 2022, and is rated and is recognized in Virginia as a Best Lawyers, Supers Lawyers and Legal Elite. 

Jen's leadership, career accomplishments, and community outreach, together with her dedication and service to the legal profession, have earned her the respect of clients and colleagues alike.
