Tara Enix's practice focuses on employment law and commercial and business litigation. Tara has experience working in numerous areas of employment law including Title II, the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Fair Labor Standards Act, the Family Medical Leave Act, and wrongful termination actions. She also has experience reviewing employment contracts, restrictive covenants and non-compete agreements, and employee handbooks for compliance with applicable federal and state laws. In addition, she is involved in a variety of commercial litigation matters involving contract disputes, construction law, and other business torts.
Prior to joining the firm, Tara served as a law clerk to the Honorable David E. Johnson of the Chesterfield County Circuit Court. In addition to practicing law, she currently serves as an adjunct professor at Virginia Commonwealth University where she teaches Legal Environment of Business.
Tara graduated with honors from the University of Richmond School of Law. During law school, she was an editor of the University of Richmond Law Review, a justice on the Honor Council, and an intern for the Supreme Court of Virginia.
