Robert Michaux

Robert Michaux is a litigation associate with Spotts Fain.  Prior to joining the firm, Robert served as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable F. G. Rockwell, III, of the Chesterfield County Circuit Court.  Robert earned his undergraduate degree from Virginia Commonwealth University and his law degree from the T.C. Williams School of Law at the University of Richmond.  While in law school, Robert focused his study on intellectual property matters—serving as a member of the Intellectual Property & Transactional Law Clinic and as Editor-in-Chief of the Richmond Journal of Law and Technology.  Before attending law school, Robert provided attorneys and law firms with appellate litigation support and worked in the financial services industry.  He is a member of the Virginia Bar Association, Richmond Bar Association and the Greater Richmond Intellectual Property Law Association.

While away from the office, Robert enjoys outdoor sports, hunting, and spending time with his wife, Sharon, and their two daughters.
