Robert J. Allen

Robert Allen focuses his practice on commercial litigation and dispute resolution, construction law and real estate transactions. He represents businesses and individuals in circuit courts throughout the state and serves as lead and local counsel in the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern and Western Districts of Virginia. He also has an appellate practice, having argued cases in the Virginia Supreme Court and the U.S. Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals. In addition to ligation, Robert also enjoys advising landowners on conservation and estate planning strategies, including conservation easements and mitigation banking.

Robert earned his B.S. in City Planning from the University of Virginia School of Architecture in 1999 and his J.D. from the University of Richmond School of Law in 2003.  He is originally from Essex County, Virginia.
