Patricia Bugg Turner
Patricia Bugg "P.J." Turner represents a diverse group of national, regional, and local business in both state and federal courts across the country. Since joining Spotts Fain’s litigation section in 2008, P.J. has litigated a wide array of contested matters, including products liability and toxic tort cases involving personal injury and wrongful death, insurance coverage disputes, construction disputes, contract and business tort cases, and other commercial disputes. P.J. routinely handles large numbers of complex products-liability cases, pending in both Virginia courts and federal multi-jurisdictional venues.
Prior to joining Spotts Fain, P.J. gained valuable experience participating in multiple asbestos-related products liability trials, each lasting two weeks, and was involved in two appeals to the Supreme Court of Virginia and one appeal to the United States Supreme Court.
