Brian R. Marron

Brian R. Marron joined Spotts Fain in 2006. He practices in the business section of the firm, handling real estate, venture capital, banking and finance matters. Brian has represented private and institutional developers on matters pertaining to land use and development, leasing, sales, finance and choice of entity issues. He has also represented institutional lenders on matters pertaining to real estate and asset-based lending and the management and disposition of troubled assets. He has also assisted entrepreneurs in raising capital through the private placement of equity. Brian is a frequent lecturer on real estate and finance issues, and he has been named in Best Lawyers in America(r), corporate law and venture capital law categories; Virginia Business magazine's list of the Legal Elite in the real estate and construction categories, as well as Virginia Super Lawyers. He is AV rated by Martindale-Hubbell.

Brian graduated with distinction in 1981 from Muhlenberg College and received his J.D. from the Marshall-Wythe School of Law at the College of William & Mary in 1984. He was a member of the National Moot Court Team at William & Mary.
