Spotts Fain is Pleased to Welcome Three Summer Associates to the Firm in 2005

From May through August of 2005 three summer associates will be spending all or part of their summer at Spotts Fain.  We are pleased to welcome them.

Martin C. Boyle has completed two years at Washington and Lee University School of Law in Lexington, Virginia.  Martin received his B.A.  from Washington and Lee in 2001.  He was the recipient of the Class of 1986/Tom Fellin/Chris Hunter Scholarship awarded annually to a student who personifies the W&L spirit, based on strength of character and leadership ability.  He also received the Young Award in Philosophy in his senior year.

Jess Daniel Mekeel has completed two years at William and Mary School of Law, where he is a staff member of the William and Mary Bill of Rights Journal.  Jess received his B.A. with distinction from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he was elected to Phi Beta Kappa, as well as receiving other honors including Pi Sigma Alpha, Golden Key International Honor Society and Emerging Leaders Program.

Ashley K. Williams will join the firm in July.  She has completed two years at the University of Richmond School of Law, where she is a staff member of both the University of Richmond Law Review and the Richmond Journal of Global Law and Business.  Ashley graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2002 with a B.A. in Journalism and Spanish, where she received an academic achievement award, was the recipient of four academic scholarships and was a staff reporter for the Daily Tar Heel.  She was also a member of Sigma Delta Pi Spanish Honor Scoiety.
