Employers Required to Post Notice of Rights Under USERRA

Mary Elizabeth Davis

Employers are required to provide a notice of the rights, benefits and obligations under the Uniformed Services Employment and Reemployment Rights Act (USERRA) to persons entitled to its rights and benefits. Employers may meet this obligation by posting the notice in a prominent place where employees customarily check for such information. A copy of a Department of Labor approved poster notice has just been made available on the Department's web site at http://www.dol.gov/.

Spotts Fain represents employers throughout the Commonwealth of Virginia dealing with all aspects of state and federal employment laws and regulations. For additional information on this regulation or other employment law issues, please contact Mary Elizabeth Davis.
