Spotts Fain shareholders elect Jennifer West director of the firm

Spotts Fain is pleased to announce that Jennifer J. West has been elected a Director of the firm.  Jen joined the firm shortly after she received her J.D. in 2001 from the Marshall-Wythe School of Law at the College of William and Mary.  She has practiced with our Creditors Rights', Bankruptcy and Insolvency Section since that time.

Jen focuses her practice on creditor's rights, commercial litigation, insolvency and bankruptcy. In her practice, she represents primarily banks and other lending institutions with regard to collection, restructuring and litigation related to secured and unsecured loans to businesses and private consumers. Representative clients range from large national lending institutions to private individuals.

Additionally, Jen dedicates a significant portion of her practice to Bankruptcy, representing creditors in Chapter 7, Chapter 13, and Chapter 11 proceedings involving both commercial debtors and private consumers. She also has experience representing Chapter 7 Trustees in Bankruptcy proceedings for the purpose of recovering assets of Debtors for the benefit of creditors.
