![]() Michael J. Rothermel was admitted to practice in Virginia in 1999. He served as a judicial law clerk to the Circuit Court in Henrico County, Virginia from 1999-2000 and joined Spotts Fain following his clerkship. He focuses his practice on land use and zoning matters as well as land use and real estate related litigation. Mike also handles a variety of administrative law matters including ABC issues and tax appeals. Mike earned a B.A., summa cum laude, in Political Science and Philosophy from Randolph-Macon College in 1996. He received his J.D., magna cum laude, from the T. C. Williams School of Law at the University of Richmond in 1999, where he was a member of Phi Beta Kappa and the McNeill Law Society. He is a member of the Richmond and Henrico County Bar Associations and currently serves as vice-president of the Henrico County Bar Association. Mike was named by his peers in the 2010 Virginia Super Lawyers list of Rising Stars. Education:
