Robert H. Chappell, III 

Mr. Chappell's practice is focused in the areas of bankruptcy, foreclosure and collections. From 1990 to 1991, he served as a law clerk to the Honorable Hal J. Bonney, Jr., a United States Bankruptcy Court Judge in Norfolk, Virginia.

Mr. Chappell earned a B.A. in English and History from the University of Virginia in 1987 and his J.D. from the Marshall-Wythe School of Law at the College of William and Mary in 1990.

Mr. Chappell is a Director of Froehling & Robertson, Incorporated and has also served on the Board of Directors of the Richmond Bar Association. He has been chosen by his peers for inclusion in Best Lawyers in America in the Bankruptcy and Creditors' Rights category and Virginia Business magazine's Legal Elite.  He has also been named for several years in Virginia Super Lawyers.
