Michael James Rothermel

Michael J. Rothermel was admitted to practice in Virginia in 1999. He served as a judicial clerk to the Circuit Court in Henrico County, Virginia from 1999-2000 and joined Spotts Fain Chappell & Anderson following his clerkship. He focuses his practice in the areas of commercial and business law and litigation and land use and zoning.

Mr. Rothermel earned a B.A., summa cum laude , in Political Science and Philosophy from Randolph-Macon College in 1996. He received his J.D., magna cum laude, from the T. C. Williams School of Law at the University of Richmond in 1999, where he was a member of Phi Beta Kappa and the McNeill Law Society.

Mr. Rothermel is a member of the Richmond and Henrico County Bar Associations. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Henrico County Bar Association.
