Erin Elizabeth Kessel

Erin Elizabeth Kessel (Corbett) graduated cum laude from the University of Notre Dame in 2000. She received her J.D. from the University of Richmond, T. C. Williams School of Law in 2003.  Her practice focuses on creditors' rights, commercial litigation and bankruptcy.  Erin has experience representing creditors in matters involving workouts, foreclosures, litigation and ch. 11, 7, and 13 proceedings.  In addition, she has experience representing ch. 7 trustees in matters involving estate recovery and avoidance actions.  She has also represented creditors in matters involving FDCPA and FCRA defense.

Erin is a member of the Richmond Bar Association and the Lewis F. Powell American Inn of Court. She has been named by her peers in Virginia Business magazine's Legal Elite in the Young Lawyers category and also in the Super Lawyers list of "rising stars" in Virginia, 2007 and 2010.
